Burgee Media described its indie game Erenshor as “a single player nod to the MMORPGs of the past”, and after a demo release in September, a big update is coming next week with new features.
In this game, it's essentially a single player RPG experience that has the feel of an open-world MMORPG with a number of similar experiences, but offline. Maybe you just don't have as much time or you really want an old school experience that is not reliant on server population, this might scratch that itch.
The Steam demo will get an update next Friday, November 10th and it will introduce The first crafting and mining systems. you'll be able to go and gather minerals from the world, refine them, and make some weapons. While this is a crafting update, there will also be UI changes, updates to dynamic weather, a series of quality of life updates, and more to improve the overall player experience.
Among the changes are the addition of rain and fog, adjustments to the day-night cycle, an overhaul of the main quest to be more user friendly, and updates to fishing.
The Erenshor team will be holding a special stream on Saturday, November 4th at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. They'll show off these updates to the demo, in addition to other plans and updates to the main game and zones that are in development for a future release.
