Dying Light fans were finally given a sequel installment last year. But before the game’s launch, developers Techland had previously confirmed that this title would receive plenty of support. In fact, it was stated that there would be at least five years of support after the game launch. This support would include updates and DLC. It was essentially a test to see what worked and the feedback they received. So by the time players got through DLC1, Techland determined that DLC2 should provide a new storyline for players to go through. While details are scarce, and information was previously promised to come when the DLC got closer to launch, we did have a little bit of insight into what we are getting.
So far, what we know about DLC2 is that this content would provide a new storyline, region, and focus on the infected. But now we’ll be waiting a bit longer before we can get additional insight
