Dragon’s Dogma 2 has clearly not enjoyed the sort of explosive sales that other Capcom megatons like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter do routinely, but the action RPG continues to trudge along at an even pace nonetheless. As per Capcom’s recently updated Platinum Titles page – which lists up-to-date sales for all million-plus sellers put out by the company – the game has hit a notable sales milestone.
As of December 31, Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold 3.5 million units worldwide across all platforms, up from 3.3 million. That means the open world title sold an additional 200,000 units over the course of that quarter. That isn’t blinding pace by any means, obviously, so it should be interesting to see how long the game’s sales can maintain this sort of momentum, especially with Capcom showing no signs of releasing sales-boosting DLC or updates of any sort (that we know of, at least).
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
