This guide contains spoilers for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Sometime before the events of , Solas extracted fragments of his own regrettable or shameful memories andhid them away in six Wolf Statuettes Rook can find by exploring the Fade. Solas, as the Elven god of trickery, lies, and rebellion, led an uprising of enslaved elves against their powerful and tyrannical Evanuris masters, who would go on to make up the Elven Pantheon of the universe. However, there's more to the story of the ancient elves before the Veil was created, and much of it is contained in Solas' memories.
A significant area of exploration in is the Crossroads, the area where many Eluvians converged in the DLC. While this location contains the Eluvians that unlock various regions and faction hubs in Thedas Rook visits throughout the game, it is also an area for exploration and puzzles on its own. To find all six Wolf Statuettes and unlock the lore they contain, players will need to delve deep into the Crossroads, defeat a few of Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain's blighted champions, and witness some of Solas' memories, both good and shameful.
Five of the six Wolf Statuettes containing Solas' Memory Fragments can be found by exploring the Crossroads in and clearing the gates blocked by blight. The sixth is given directly to Rook by the Inquisitor in a cutscene during the main story quest Something Wrong. The Wolf Statuettes are part of the quest Regrets of the Dread Wolf that will unlock in the Crossroads when Rook and their party stumble upon the first of Solas' Fade memories, usually The Labs Below or The Wolf's Call.
There are Fen'Harel Altars around the Exploration Levels in When activated with the Lyrium Knife, the Fen'Harel Altars turn to face the location of a hidden Wolf Statuette. The Wolf Statuettes found at these altars are lying down rather than standing upright. Collecting these rewards Rook with extra Skill Points. They are different from the ones that contain Solas' memories and regrets.
