Bleppo Launches Number Salad, A Word Salad-Style Game with Numbers
Number Salad is the latest creation from the creators of Word Salad, Bleppo. It follows a similar structure to Word Salad as you solve daily puzzles and add math to your day-to-day routine. It’s up for grabs on Android for free.
The concept is deceptively simple. Each day, you’re handed a puzzle crafted by Sam and Mark over at Bleppo Games. You swipe numbers on a board to solve equations. The puzzles ramp up quickly, so don’t think that it gets monotonous.
By the weekend, you’ll be grappling with tough divisions, multipliers and some tricky minus signs.
Number Salad also offers you hints that nudge you in the right direction. So, don’t get worried about getting stuck at any point or giving up.
And if you’re totally hooked and one puzzle a day isn’t enough, you can dig into the game’s archive. There’s a treasure trove of older challenges which are fun and challenging in their own way. Catch a glimpse of the game and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Number Salad offers a lot of variety. Some days you’ll get gentle Trampoline puzzles, while other times, the fiendish Hourglass levels will make you question everything you know about numbers. And there’s a bit of logic and geometry in the game, too.
In addition to all that, there are shapes as well. Every day, the puzzles take on unique forms, so that you’re not just staring at a boring grid. From simple squares to complex hexagonal figures, the randomness is something pretty fun and unique.
