Subscribers to Crew, Fortnite's monthly paid service model, will be getting much more for their money starting in Chapter 6 Season 1. Historically, Crew memberships cost $11.99 USD per month and came with an exclusive monthly outfit and accessories, the Season's Battle Pass (or a one-time refund of 950 V-Bucks if the subscriber already had purchased the Pass), and 1,000 V-Bucks a month. Eventually, Crew memberships were updated to include the Rocket League premium pass and unlockable Legacy Styles for the exclusive monthly cosmetics.
Now, starting December 1 when Chapter 6 begins, Crew subscribers will have access to even more benefits to stretch their monthly payment even further. Epic Games recently announced changes to progression, allowing players to progress their Battle Pass, Music Pass, and LEGO Pass simultaneously. Now, with the announcement of these changes, it seems Crew will get some upgrades as well. Here's everything new that players can expect from their Crew subscription starting in January.
Starting December 1, 2024, in addition to all the usual benefits, Crew subscribers will also receive the Music Pass and the LEGO Pass at no additional charge. This will allow you to claim the premium and rewards while leveling up your Battle Royale Battle Pass and claiming those rewards.
Fortnite is undergoing some changes in the way it presents its user-created content, and they're going to look very familiar to Roblox users.
Epic Games is also adding a new permanent OG mode, similar to the OG Season from 2023. This mode will also include a pass with unlockable rewards that Crew subscribers will get at no additional charge. It is not immediately clear what this pass will include, but it is likely to release alongside, or soon after, the release of OG mode.
