This update added Frozen's Olaf to the game and while many fans have been happy with the new content, there are those who are unimpressed with the game's expensive microtransactions.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is now selling moonstones, the game's premium currency, at $4.49 for 1200 moonstones, $8.99 for 2500, $17.99 for 5500, and $44.99 for 14500. Disney Dreamlight Valley is currently selling a Royal Deco Living Room in the Item Shop set for 4,850 moonstones, which means that it effectively costs around $20 when translated to real world money. Disney Dreamlight Valley gives players the chance to get moonstones in-game, but obviously the most effective way to obtain them will be through buying them with real money.
