PlayWay has dropped their PC and console game Ship Graveyard Simulator on Android. In the game, you’re the owner of your very own salvage yard. By the way, the game is getting a sequel on PS5 and Xbox series.
You’re ready to break down everything in sight. You walk through the rusty remains of a massive cargo ship, armed with a hammer and hacksaw. It’s your job to take these old, decommissioned ships and break them down piece by piece, salvaging whatever materials you can to keep your business afloat.
As you level up and progress in Ship Graveyard Simulator, you’ll find yourself ordering in gigantic ocean liners. They’re full of complicated passages and blocked areas that require strategy and upgraded tools to break through.
You break down ship parts, gather the materials, sell what you don’t need and then do it all over again. And if you need to take a break and let a new ship roll in, you just head over to your shack, order a new vessel and wait until 8 a.m. for it to arrive.
You start with the hammer and hacksaw. As you level up, you unlock new tiers of tools, like a forge for crafting and a storage guy who’s basically your go-to for more inventory slots. You even get a truck with its own mini-inventory.
There’s a vendor next to your shop who’s always ready to buy any leftover materials you don’t need, putting some extra cash in your pocket. Check out the trailer of Ship Graveyard Simulator below!
You don’t actually tear the ship hulls apart in Ship Graveyard Simulator. There are some side hustle action, too. You can take on small quests from people on the shoreline, stuff like bringing back certain materials or crafting specific items.
All that said, don’t expect some super complex, mind-blowing simulation from Ship Graveyard Simulator. It’s more of a relaxing and unwinding game where you just enjoy dismantling massive ships at your own pace.
