is home to numerous chests, with every region having around 20-30 chests each. Minrathous' Dock Town has one of the trickier chests to unlock, which can be found in Wharf Crossing South. To solve this puzzle and open the chest, players will need to have already recruited Taash.
You'll spend quite a bit of time in Dock Town, even if you don't choose to help Minrathous early on in the game. There are plenty of chests for you to find, with two to find in the Wharf Crossing section of the map. Once you've grabbed Taash, head to the southernmost Beacon in Dock Town to find this puzzle.
To open the gate between you and the chest, you'll need to start using Taash to blow up the Gaatlock barrels to the right of the gate. The hole the explosion creates will reveal a round, pulley-like fixture you can interact with using the Illyrium Dagger to channel Neve's helpful freezing ability. Before you do so, head to the lever on the right side of the gate and pull it, then use «RB» or your equivalent to freeze the pulley.
The Lighthouse in the Fade is your home base in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but it too holds mysteries for you to uncover as you explore.
After you freeze the first pulley, head to the right of the room where the chest is and find another hole in the wall. Using the "" menu and the freeze ability, freeze the pulley through this wall.
After the second pulley has been frozen, you can then run back to the gate and pull the lever on the left. By freezing both pulleys, you've prevented the gate from falling closed after it opens. You'll be able to walk into the room and loot the chest, along with some other stuff, once the main gate fully rises.
Like all non-Unique chests in Veilguard, the rewards you'll get for opening the Wharf Crossing southern chest are a bit underwhelming. You'llberewarded with some gold, materials, and sellable items, as usual. For the main item, I received an upgrade to Neve's staff, but this might change depending on what you've got equipped.
