The Epic Games Store will give away 16 free games over the Christmas period.
That’s according to ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun, who claims the promotion will launch on December 12 alongside the Epic Games Store’s Holiday Sale.
Epic has run similar Christmas promotions over the last couple of years, and this week’s free Epic Games Store title hasn’t been revealed as usual, with the company instead saying it plans to offer a “mystery game.”
Writing on Dealabs, billbil-kun claimed tomorrow’s free game will be available to claim for one week.
Then, beginning on December 19, a mystery free game will be given away each day for 15 consecutive days. They will be available to claim for just 24 hours, excluding the last one, which will be free from January 2-9.
The Epic Game Store is currently giving away Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop.
They’re available to claim for free until 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST on Thursday, when they’ll be replaced with the first mystery free game.
Amazon is offering Prime subscribers over 25 PC games at no extra charge in December. They include the enhanced editions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2, The Outer Worlds, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Tomb Raider Underworld and Overcooked 2.
