The Pikachu ex deck is one of the best Electric-decks in , and is still considered fairly strong in the meta even after the release of Mythical Island. There are a lot of cards that could work well in this deck, but the known deck is fairly set in stone at this point, and the second release didn’t change it very much. This deck requires a fair amount of strategy, as Electric-type decks can be quite vulnerable if you don’t play them correctly.
The best decks in usually have an ex Pokémonas their star. It is what the deck is built around and determines the strategy and what other cards are included in the deck. This deck has some weaknesses, and you should be careful to keep their Pokémon alive as well as possible.
This deck is still quite similar to its original form in the first set. However, there are some variants in Mythical Island, and you can experiment with those variants if you want to. There is one that players have been consistently subbing in, and there is one I actually like using a bit better, depending on the circumstance.
One person's Pokémon TCG Pocket failed God pack is another player's treasure, as player gets to pick from the most foolproof Wonder Pick.
The deck list below is most consistent with the current meta, although there are several different versions of it out there. Below that will be some options for subbing in, particularly for those who are free-to-play.
