After seven years of continued support and constant updates, the free-to-play mobile game by Nintendo, is shutting down in late November. Thankfully, the game won’t completely disappear. Instead, will become an offline version of itself called . As the game goes offline, some aspects of the game will no longer be available.
Like other mobile games, included some in-app purchases that included special event items and an in-game currency called Leaf Tickets that allowed players to buy items and game benefits, like covering missing materials for crafting. Since will no longer allow for in-app purchases, opting instead for a one-time, up-front fee, some of these special items and benefits will no longer be available to players.
The two major features that won’t be in are Leaf Tickets and Pocket Camp Club, the subscription service that gives players special benefits on their campsites. Items that won’t be transferred to include Leaf Tickets, Gifts from friends, and cookies.Players should use up their Leaf Tickets and other non-transferable items before shuts down on November 28, as after that point the tickets will become defunct.
While Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is closing its servers, the game itself isn't going anywhere, with an exciting new future ahead for fans.
Since Pocket Camp Club is being discontinued, the following features will be disabled, according to Nintendo.
With all these features lost from, Nintendo did provide a silver lining by confirming that some other features from the subscription service, like camp caretaker, would be available for all players in The camp caretaker is a player-appointed Villager that finishes tasks for players, chats with them, and collects rewards, items, and friendship points.
