Blizzard has made Diablo IV free to play up to level 20 on Steam until November 28 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Any interested user can just head towards the store page and press play the game to start the download.
Needless to say, any progress made during the free trial will be there if players choose to purchase the game. On that note, there is a 40% discount on all Diablo IV editions with the ongoing Steam's Autumn Sale. The base edition costs $41.99, the Digital Edition (which includes the Temptation Mount, the Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor, a Premium Seasonal Battle Pass unlock, the Inarius Wings & Inarius Murloc Pet in Diablo III, and the Amalgam of Rage Mount in World of Warcraft) is priced at $53.99, and the Ultimate Edition (which adds an Accelerated Battle Pass Unlock with 20 Tier Skips and the Wings of the Creator emote on top of the above) costs $59.99.

Due to launch at some point in Fall 2024, it will introduce a brand new class that has never been seen before in Diablo games. Story-wise, adventurers will follow the trail left by Mephisto and find out what the Prime Evil has been up to. That will bring them to the jungle region of Nahantu, which was featured in Diablo II. The city of Kurast will be there, too.
