Players can now take on Diablo 4's hardest challenge dungeon yet.
By Hayley Williams on
Diablo 4's new endgame event, Abattoir of Zir, is live now in game, daring players to take on the brutal dungeon in order to unlock and upgrade the powerful Tears of Blood Glyph. The first level of the Abattoir of Zir is around the same difficulty as a level 100 Nightmare Dungeon, and each of its 25 levels only get more difficult from there.
The Abattoir of Zir requires players to have completed all of the chapters of the Season of Blood, after which they'll unlock a recipe for the Bloodforged Sigil, which grants access to the new dungeon. In the Abattoir, players will have just 10 minutes to kill enough enemies to summon the dungeon bosses, which then have to be defeated to clear the level.

Each tier successfully cleared will unlock the recipe for the next tier's Bloodforged Sigil. Defeating the first tier will also unlock the Tears of Blood Glyph, which requires higher amounts of Paragon Glyph experience to level up--which, luckily, will be rewarded in spades by progressing through the higher tiers of the Abattoir.
As well as the new event, Diablo 4's Patch 1.2.3 comes with a few tweaks and bug fixes. Notably, Blizzard has bumped up Glyph experience for Nightmare Tiers from level 18 up, saying that it wanted to incentivise players to keep pushing to higher levels.
