Devolver Digital has announced plans to hold another Devolver Direct showcase this summer.
“Yes we’re doing a Devolver Direct in June,” the company tweeted. “More information soon.”
Last year’s Devolver Direct was held on June 9 and was used to showcase five games.
Of those, Cult of the Lamb and Card Shark are available now, while Anger Foot, The Plucky Squire and Skate Story have yet to be released.
Other upcoming games from Devolver Direct include Gunbrella, Pepper Grinder and The Talos Principle 2.
Sony is planning to showcase upcoming PlayStation games in a digital event at the end of this month or in early June, sources have told VGC.
If these claims are accurate, a PlayStation event would kick off several weeks of major video game showcases, which are taking place in the absence of the cancelled E3 2023 show.
Summer Game Fest, which is billed as the “global fan celebration of what’s next in video games”, will return for its fourth year with a live kick-off show on Thursday, June 8.
Promising world premieres, live gameplay demos and announcements, the show will take place in front of a live audience at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California.
This summer’s Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 11. It’s not clear how long the showcase will last, but it will be directly followed by a Starfield Direct presentation, offering a deep-dive into Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG.
Finally, Ubisoft will hold its annual Ubisoft Forward live event on Monday, June 12.
