Since the development started in 2017, NebulaJoy has conducted several closed beta tests, with an open beta for the Mainland China market in 2021. Pre-registration for the Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat global closed beta opened earlier this year, giving players a chance to take part and earn rewards regardless of whether they were selected.
