Diablo IV and Redfall are two of the newest announced additions to Nvidia’s list of games that include DLSS 3 support. Both of those will launch with DLSS in June and May, respectively.
Those titles join an official list that is growing close to 300 games and apps. Nvidia will be at GDC next week, so we can likely expect to see some demos and more from their presentations.
DLSS, or Deep Learning Super Sampling, is Nvidia’s technology that uses AI to boost graphics, performance and frame rate on a variety of systems to make games look and play better. With almost 300 supported games and apps, notable games that have support include Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis , PlanetSide 2 , No Man's Sky , Baldur's Gate 3 , Diablo II: Resurrected , The Elder Scrolls Online , and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Games that will be getting support sooner, or are already on that list include Deceive Inc, Gripper , Forza Horizon 5 , Smalland: Survive the Wilds , and the currently-running closed beta for THE FINALS . Games like Deceive Inc and Gripper will get support this month. Upcoming survival and building game Smalland: Survive the Wilds will have support when it enters Early Access on March 29th.
The announcement includes some details on Nvidia’s partnership with Bethesda, reflected here with Redfall. In that open-world co-op FPS, an island is under siege by vampires. There will be a campaign that lets you find out what happened. Co-op should benefit from the performance enhancement, and looking better is never a bad thing for a game. There will be ray tracing support after launch as well.
