Destiny 2's new Lightfall expansion gets an official release date and time. Bungie's free-to-play online shooter will introduce its latest expansion, which will add a new location, campaign, and raid. Previously, Destiny 2: Lightfall was accidentally released earlier than the intended date in some regions, which caused a severe bug preventing players from logging in. Bungie's website officially declared Destiny 2: Lightfall's official release date to be February 28, 2023, at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time. In line with this, the game will momentarily be offline starting one day before, on February 27, 2023, at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time. This will give all players time to prepare for Destiny 2: Lightfall, so that everybody will be able to enjoy the experience as a whole.
