Darkmoon Faire Closed Until Launch - Cataclysm Classic
In a hotfix earlier this week, Blizzard announced that the Darkmoon Faire will not be coming to town during the Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch. Instead, the event will make a return sometime after launch.

Darkmoon Faire will be closed until the launch of Cataclysm, when it will return with the newly updated Darkmoon Faire Island.
With the release of Cataclysm Classic, the Darkmoon Faire is receiving a complete overhaul, including the addition of a new zone, the Darkmoon Island. The new Faire is filled with quirky details, fun games, and lots of vanity items for all tastes. There are new achievements, games, rewards, and currencies. Some of the notable rewards include the Darkmoon Dancing Bear, Swift Forest Strider, Heirloom Gear, and Replica Dungeon Transmog!
