There is a way of getting early access to the contents of the adventure book starting earlier in that same month, however.
Players and DMs who preorder the adventure book will unlock certain bonuses. The first and most notable benefit of preordering the book is getting early access to its content starting May 7, which is two full weeks before the official release. Of course, this early access period is only granted in its digital form through the D&D Beyond system – the physical books start shipping on May 21.
