Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty gets new cinematic trailer and Idris Elba videos
New Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty character and story details have been revealed.
The videos below premiered during CD Projekt’s latest Night City Wire live stream on Thursday.
The upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion stars Idris Elba as a spy called Solomon Reed.

Set for release on September 26, the $30 / £25 expansion promises to entirely overhaul the way Cyberpunk 2077 is played, according to the studio.
In an interview in June, creative director Pawel Sasko and quest designer Despoina Anetaki told VGC that “all the core main systems” of the game have been “redone or updated in a major way”.
Gameplay designer Yulia Pryimak showcased some of these new features, including vehicle combat, during Gamescom Opening Night Live last month.

It was also announced that some of the new features introduced in Phantom Liberty will be added to the base game as part of Update 2.0, which will be available for current-gen consoles and PC.
It was confirmed during today’s Night City Wire presentation that Update 2.0 will be released on September 21.
CD Projekt said last month that its decision to only release a single expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 was a technological one due to the company’s switch to Unreal Engine development.
