Uber Eats now lets you order from two restaurants at once without having to pay an additional delivery charge.
As the press release explains, "Whether you’re looking to add gelato to your pizza order or you want Thai but your spouse wants tacos, now you can build the cart you want from multiple Uber Eats merchants you love and have all of your items delivered together."
Uber Eats will limit the available store bundling options to other nearby restaurants, but there's still going to be plenty of choice and it's already available to use across the US.
To try it out, simply select items from a store's menu in the Uber Eats app, then tap "Bundle another store," which should appear at the bottom of the menu. Add more items from a second store before heading to the checkout. The delivery charge will show a discount and there will be a message stating which of the two stores you are saving the charge on.
Earlier this year Uber Eats announced it was deploying up to 2,000 robots across the US to deliver orders. Regular users of the app may have also noticed storefronts disappearing as new guidelines were introduced to stop identical menus flooding the service. And if you're craving something from a resturant not availble in your area, nationwide delivery is an option.
