Update 10.2, Guardians of the Dream is still set to go live today in World of Warcraft. Blizzard has delayed the update for maintenance, and continues to provide updates.
The big update is set to bring the new zone, The Emerald Dream, continued Dragonflight quests, new public events, and of course, new raids, new gear, dungeons, and more. The update will also add PvP gear to the universal upgrade system.
These features will be live when the team is able to complete maintenance. This being patch day, any MMORPG fan is familiar with this sort of uncertainty. The dragonflights and the mission to halt Fyraakk’s plans will commence when the update is ready.
CM Kaivax posted an update on the decision to extend downtime today: “We’ve just made the decision to delay our estimated launch time for Guardians of the Dream. We now expect to be finished with maintenance by 4:00 p.m. PST (7:00 p.m. EST).
Launching this patch is our top priority across the entire WoW Development Team, and we’ll let you know when we have any further updates.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.”
Since this is pretty soon, we should see an update coming at anytime.
