It’s time, once again, to battle the Turkulon in Aeternum. Tomorrow’s New World update brings the event back, with loot improvements. The patch also improves a number of things, fixes a few bugs, and adds new Knightsbane Legion skins and Black Friday bundles.
The Turkulon returns for the third time this year, so get ready to take on the battle and maybe even walk away with the Grand Gobbler War Hammer skin or even a massive turkey leg, a trophy or even a house pet. The event follows others that have gotten loot improvements, so you’ll find that participating in the great hunt this time means more frequent drops and better ones. This is a level 66 world boss, and if you slay it 16 times in total throughout the event (which runs through November 28th), you will get every single event item. The loot system is designed to reward you the things you don’t already have, to reduce duplicates.
If you are slaying the turkey that is larger than any turkey ever should be and you haven't gotten the War Hammer skin after 15 tries, then on your 16th try you are guaranteed to get what you're missing.
The rest of the update has a lot of practical changes and adjustments, with some spawn rate changes in a few areas. Artifacts continue seeing tweaks to help balance, though the team recently expressed happiness with them overall, and moving forward with more to come (including in Season Four, Endless Frost). There are also a number of adjustments to weapons, buffs and status effects.
Amazon also fixed a few issues, including non-functional skin dyes, Wars that weren’t starting up, and crash issues.
The update also adds new Dark Legion skins, and for a limited time, a few bundles, including the Gladekeeper Bundle, Azoth Arcana, and more
