When Can You Play Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC? (Unlock Times & Regions)
's long-awaited DLC, is finally nearing its release. The expansion will launch exclusively on current-gen devices such as Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, as well as PC, unlike the original which attempted to launch on last-gen consoles with disastrous results. It will also be coupled with a massive 2.0 update, making CD Projekt Red's first and last DLC for its 2020 ARPG a huge overhaul for the title, bringing it more in line with the experience many expected from at launch.
The expansion is packed with new content, launching V into a brand-new espionage-heavy storyline as they become an agent for the New United States of America alongside endless dynamic events and missions. Night City's previously inaccessible sub-district, Dogtown, will also be opened up for exploration. The sub-district is a dangerous piece of land forged in the Unification War between the New United States and the Free States, and while it may be small compared to the base game's map, seems to be packed full of new weapons, gangs, and characters such as Idris Elba's Solomon Reed, more than justifying its $29.99 price tag.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed on the official X (formerly Twitter) page that will unlock on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, but there isn't an exact release time at the moment. However, 's base game had a global release time and was unlocked simultaneously for all players upon its launch, irrespective of location or regional time zone. That was midnight Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on December 10, 2020, which was 4 pm PT and 7 pm ET on December 9.
