CHARTS: Helldivers 2 defends Steam top spot
Arrowhead Studios' wildly popular Helldivers 2 has spent a second week at the No.1 spot on Steam.
The title debuted on February 8th and has been met with enduring popularity, despite the fact that it has had serious server problems almost since its release. Helldiers 2 has shifted over one million copies to date. Upgrading to the Super Citizen Edition of the game were the seventh biggest seller on Steam last week, pointing to players wanting to either support the co-op romp or get more from their experience.
Valve's Counter-Strike 2 hangs in at second place, coming in ahead of fellow free-to-play shooter Apex Legends, which jumps up four places to No.3 off the back of the game's latest season of content rolling out.
PUBG: Battlegrounds drops one place to No.4, but charts ahead of Valve's Steam Deck hardware, which rose up three positions to fifth. Both pocket monster romp Palworld and Call of Duty fell two places to No.7 and No.8 respectively.
Meanwhile, Deep Rock Galactic spin-off Survivor makes its debut in ninth place, while Dota 2 dropped five positions week-on-week to round off the Top Ten.
