From Software's Elden Ring is back in the Steam Top Ten.
The open-world action RPG returned to the charts in fourth place following the reveal trailer for the eagerly-anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Pre-orders for that expansion debuted in ninth place. This all comes just over two years after Elden Ring's initial 2022 release.
At the top of the charts once again is Helldivers 2. The co-op shooter has continued to be extremely popular despite having some quite severe server issues since its launch. The game has shifted close to three million copies, too. The Upgrade to Super Citizen Edition option was the tenth highest-selling item on Steam last week, indicating strong engagement with Helldivers 2 even approaching a month after its initial release.
Counter-Strike 2 was once again the second biggest-seller of the week, while Last Epoch, a new action RPG from Eleventh Hour Games, made its debut in third place. Both PUBG: Battlegrounds and Valve's Steam Deck dropped once place to fifth and sixth respectively, coming in ahead of Nightingale in No.7. That's the debut game from Inflexion, a new studio set up by former BioWare GM Aaryn Flynn.
Apex Legends from EA drops from third to eighth week-on-week as hype surrounding the battle royale's new season dissipates.
