Supergiant's first sequel, Hades 2, was the second biggest seller on Steam last week.
The game launched into Early Access on May 6th following a closed technical test, and has already been met with critical acclaim. The fact it follows the original – and much-loved – Hades has certainly not hurt its chances of success to date, though it'll be interesting to see how long the sequel stays in the charts following its initial release.
Counter-Strike 2 once again takes the top spot – after one week off the throne thanks to Gray Zone Warfare. That title is now down in ninth place. Meanwhile EA's Apex Legends rose up four places to No.3 on the back of the release of the battle royale's 21st season of content; this includes a brand new playable character and a new solo game mode.
V Rising was the fifth biggest seller of the week; the action RPG first released into Early Access in May 2022 but has graduated to 1.0 status on May 8th. In its first eight months on sale, the game shifted over three million copies.
In sixth place is Helldivers 2, which shot up three places from last week's No.9, while Stellaris makes an even more impressive leap up from 58th to seventh on the back of a 70 per cent to celebrate the strategy game's eighth anniversary.
Finally, Naraka: Bladepoint rose up from No.30 to tenth place.
Valve's smash hit MOBA Dota 2 dropped two places to No.8 week-on-week
