Surprising no one, Game Science's Black Myth: Wukong was the biggest selling game on Steam last week.
The action RPG debuted on August 20th, and its pre-orders had been ranking highly in the top-grossing chart for some time. Black Myth launched to positive reviews and has shifted over ten million copies to date across all platforms.
Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG: Battlegrounds still sit in second and third place for the third week on the trot, while fellow free-to-play hit Dota 2 rose up four positions to No.4. Valve's Steam Deck hardware dropped one place to fifth, one position ahead of Warframe, which returned to the Top Ten at No.6 from 22nd place on the back of new content rolling out for the free-to-play blockbuster.
In seventh and eighth place are pre-orders for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Call of Duty Black Ops 6 ahead of their respective September 9th and October 25th release dates.
Post apocalyptic MMO Once Human fell from fifth to ninth, while Chinese-only 雀魂麻將(MahjongSoul) – from Catfood Studios – rounds of the Top Ten.
