Changes to Specializations for Titan-Touched Nodes in Patch 10.0.7
In the current Patch 10.0.5 patch, the Mastering the Elements tree in both Herbalism and Mining have similar effects. When you unlock the Titan Touched sub-tree within Mastering the Elements, the current perk is that mining or herbing Titan-Touched deposits will empower you with Enlightened Potential, increasing your speed and secondary stats for a short while.
Investing 40 points into Titan-Touched will attune yourself to the portals opened by Overloading Titan-Touched deposits, allowing you to return to where the first portal opened. In Patch 10.0.7, unlocking the Titan-Touched sub-tree in Mastering the Elements in either Herbalism and Mining will give you the old 40-point ability right away: you will have the ability to use Overloaded Titan-Touched portals to return to your original spot.
The new 40-point ability in the Titan-Touched tree will now give you a chance to reveal a Glowing Titan Orb when you Overload a Titan-Touched node! Given that the functional duration of Enlightened Potential for Overloading a Titan-Touched deposit is very short, this wasn't a useful ability. Changing the unlock ability to being able to return through a portal when Overloading is much better — especially since you'd sometimes end up in a very dangerous spot on the other end! Moving the return portal to the unlock position and adding in another way to get a Glowing Titan Orb as the 40-point ability makes this sub-tree a lot more useful.
