Our pursuit of the recently freed Primal Incarnates in Dragonflight Patch 10.1 will take us to new lands, inhabited by friend and foe alike. While some of them will be brand new races, we'll also be surprised by some familiar faces making their home underground in the massive Zaralek Cavern.
One of those familiar faces are the lift-loving Drogbar, returning from Legion! Do you even lift, brul? Once slaves to Neltharion the Earth-Warder, the cave dwelling humanoids were used as laborers and fodder by the mad Aspect of the Black Dragonflight, forced to weld the goblin-forged adamantium plates onto the Aspect of the Black Dragonflight when his body began to fall apart. This connection to the black dragons helps explain their appearance within Zaralek Cavern, as it is also the site of Neltharion's forgotten laboratory, in which it's likely the Drogbar were used as peon, test subject, or both.
Since the dragons left the isles however, the Drogbar have been free to forge their own culture, much of which mirrors that of their Highmountain brethren. Go Zoom! Snail racing is one of the Drogbar's favored pastimes, as evidenced by the large track within Highmountain's Stonedark Grotto.
Players can manipulate the competition through various means, including standing in front of racers to slow them down (which may be a reference to a similar trick in Chrono Trigger), awarding the Zoom! achievement and battle pet. Not unique in their interest, the Zaralek Cavern Drogbar have also been confirmed to have a love of snails and racing them! Hulking slabs of muscle, another of the Drogbar's interests involves the lifting of heavy things.
