The upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake on PS5 will have its distractingly intense weather effects dialled back in response to fan feedback. The unfortunate design choice was first noticed in a recent Game Informer gameplay video.
Speaking to Press Start Australia, Resident Evil 4 producer Hirabayashi Yoshiaki acknowledged fans' concerns, stating, «We’ve seen everyone’s reaction to the rain effects, and we are working on a day-one patch to make adjustments.»
In other Resi 4 news, the anticipated remake will feature prominently during Capcom's Spotlight stream, which takes place today with the main show starting at 2:30 PM PT. In addition, a mysterious ARG website related to the game, called «Baby Eagle is Missing», recently surfaced online.
