With a highly anticipated sequel to Cities: Skylines underway, developer Colossal Order has revealed all the game's final content packs, mini-expansions, and free updates. Cities: Skylines is getting a surprising amount of new content despite a sequel being right around the corner including tons of new buildings, hours of new music, and several Content Creator Packs developed by the game's devoted community.
Since 2015, Cities: Skylines has been regarded as the premier city-building game in the eyes of virtual urban planners, dethroning the SimCity series in the wake of Simcity 2013's notorious flop. Through its 8-year run, the game has released a plethora of expansions, mini-expansions, content packs, and DLC that built upon its strong foundations with both major and minor additions. Although Cities: Skylines has over $250 of DLC available for purchase, the base game and its many free updates along the way still offer an incredible amount of content, and its Steam Workshop integration is second to none.

With Cities: Skylines 2 recently announced, it's a bit surprising that the original still has quite a lot left in store before the big release. Colossal Order has revealed a set of «World Tour» DLC that will be made available at different times throughout the year. First up on March 22 will be Sports Venues, Shopping Malls, and Africa In Miniature community-made packs that introduce new assets according to these themes. New radio station DLC will be arriving at the same time, including Pop-Punk Radio, 80s Movie Tunes, and JADIA (Just Another Day In Africa).
