Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's beta dates have been officially confirmed, marking the first time the beta for the popular shooter will be available on all platforms at the same time.
Revealed during the Call of Duty podcast on YouTube (via CharlieIntel), the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta will be available on the following dates.
Over the past several years, Call of Duty's betas have been exclusive to PlayStation platforms. Early access to the beta will be available to Game Pass subscribers and those who pre-order Black Ops 6. The open beta will be available to all players.
First revealed in May after months of rumors, Black Ops 6 is the latest in the long-running series developed by Treyarch. Activision revealed a host of details in June about the multiplayer, Zombies, and the campaign, which is set in the 1990s. Like other games in the Black Ops sub-series, Black Ops 6 features a paranoid outlook in which players are "never sure who to trust, and what is real."
Black Ops 6 was a hot topic in the wake of last week's Game Pass price increases, which includes a "Standard" tier that doesn't include day one releases. Black Ops 6 is set to be available on Game Pass at release on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for Console.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 25.
