Microsoft has reportedly decided that 2024's Call of Duty (which is widely believed to be a new Black Ops game) will launch on Xbox Game Pass.
Unarguably the biggest bit of gaming news to happen over the past decade has been Microsoft's purchase of Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. Although the purchase was finalised towards the end of last year, it was in the works for a while, mostly because of how against the acquisition Sony was. That makes sense considering how much it might potentially impact sales on its own platform, as well as on PlayStation, if it can be accessed through Game Pass.
"Microsoft plans a major shakeup of its videogame sales strategy by releasing the coming installment of Call of Duty to its subscription service instead of the longtime, lucrative approach of only selling it a la carte."
Xbox hasn't officially announced that's going
