Bungie Shares Destiny 2 Reactions Video and More Details on Next Week's Showcase
Bungie is gettins us all ready for next week’s Destiny 2 showcase with a new video showing off reactions toDestiny 2 story developments by fans all over the world. They’ve also shared some details about next week’s showcase, including Twitch Drops.
The video covers a whole series of story beats and discoveries from Destiny 2, with reactions in the moment from streamers. This is one of those ‘if you know, you know’ experiences, and the reflections in the trailer are going to hit differently for those who’ve stuck around. The end of the video is, appropriately, focused on the announcement of The Final Shape, andthe reveal of the return of Cayde-6 (and his original voice actor, Nathan Fillion).
The Destiny 2 showcase will happen in one week on August 22nd. This is an annual showcase, but this year is going to be huge. Season 22 is coming,and the team will announce more. The next reprised raid will be revealed. We can expect many new details about The Final Shape, following the reveal back in May. The Final Shape will conclude the Light & Darkness saga, so we can expect the presentation to build on that initial excitement and set up a saga finale in a big way.
There will be a pre-show at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM on August 22nd, with the full showcase starting at 9:00 AM PT/ 12 PM ET, and followed by a live post show
Beyond those new reveals, in light of the next expansion closing that door, Bungie will also be revealing what the future of Destiny 2 looks like. They’ll let us know what the following year will be like, and some details beyond during the live post-show as well.
