Even though it’s still in Open Beta, the social farming sim Palia has received its first content update. The update, titled Temple of the Flames, introduces a new mysterious temple for players to explore and obtain new fiery crops, recipes, and more. The new update is live now and players already in the beta can download it via the Palia launcher. Those interested in playing in the beta can still sign up to do so for free via the Palia website.
Players will explore the new Temple of the Flames, a new fire-themed environment. Inside the temple are new quests, puzzles, and treasures. There’s also a unique maze players can explore that lies within the temple. Progression through the temple will unlock new bundles and recipes as well, giving you new things to do at your farm. You can also plant two new crops, Spicy Peppers and Corn, with ten new cooking recipes including Crab Pot Pie and Chili Oil Wontons. Great, now I’m hungry.
Further new content includes new housing decor such as the Emberforn furniture set. Players who can complete each Temple Bundle will receive a new Ancient Rock Garden. Upon placing the Ancient Rock Garden on your plot, you can now be visited by the fabled Palian Kitsuu.
Also, you can now befriend Tau, Hassian’s loyal pup. Like everyone else in Palia, you can increase your friendship level with Tau up to Level 4. Doing so will unlock a big blue plushie version of Tau that you can decorate your home with.
Temple of the Flames is the first content update for Palia, but Singularity 6 already has additional larger-scale updates planned. The planned updates include new temples, quests, villagers, zones, and more.
