Lost Ark is getting its next update tomorrow, September 13th, and with it comes new events, a new Ark Pass, and Jump Start servers.
The update, which was announced last week, will bring multiple new ways to jump into Arkesia, from the Jump Start servers aimed at providing faster progression through the MMOARPG. Each player who jumps into the new server will receive an item to effectively jump start them to Item Level 1415. Jump Start servers will be sectioned off from the rest of the servers, though, to help keep the experience unaffected by the other regions.
«Jump-Start servers will be isolated from other servers, with independent PvE matchmaking, Party Finder, Marketplace, and Auction House (PvP matchmaking and rank will be shared with the rest of the region). This allows restarting players to have an independent experience that’s unaffected by existing servers/regions. We will be closely monitoring the progression and populations of Jump-Start servers, and plan on reconnecting Jump-Start Servers with their respective regions within the next six months.»
The Primal Island Battle Royale event is also coming tomorrow, giving players a new way to PvP. The new arena will see players face off not just against each other, but dinosaurs that walk the island in search of unsuspecting prey. You'll need to complete a few Battle Arena quests in order to jump in, and the arena is only open for a few days a week at certain times. You'll need to register 30 minutes prior, though Lost Ark will notify players in-game ahead of the start time.
Tomorrow's update also brings new consumables, such as Yoz's Jar which gives Epic and Legendary skins. The Amethyst Shard Shop is getting new purchase options as a result of the Yoz's Jar system.
