The Bonny Patch overhauls sailing and naval gameplay in Humankind and adds the Caribbean Pirates. The brand new Cultures of Oceania DLC expands the world with six new cultures, new Wonders, and much more.
The Cultures of Oceania DLC is out for the strategy title now on PC and Introduces the Pama-Nyungan, Polynesians, Rapa Nui, Maori, Hawaiians, and New Zealanders. These six new cultures represent everything from ancient periods through the 20th century, and different pursuits and characteristics.
The Polynesians, for example, are considered expansionist. The islands of Tonga, Samoa, and Uvea grew Polynesian culture and they used the ocean to navigate and conquer. The Maori are militaristic, Building a complex society that has been touched and impacted through conflict. The Hawaiians are more agrarian, but over time, starting in the 1700s, politics, colonialism, and increased contact with outside cultures have impacted this culture. The New Zealanders worked to move away from British imperialism and invested in science and technology.
These cultures and related Wonders join seven independent peoples, along with 15 new narrative events added, and brand new in-game music tracks. In total, this DLC brings the total number of available cultures in the game up to 86.
Another new culture added to Humankind with the update is the Caribbean Pirates from era for. they are militarist so if you're looking to boost your militarist cred, here's your shot. In addition to the Caribbean Pirates, the Bonny Patch also updates and overhauls naval gameplay.
