Borderlands 4 Trailer's Secret Message Has Already Been Decoded
The full trailer that was released last night had another secret message embedded in the end, and the community has already decoded it. The title was announced with a teaser trailer in August, shortly after the movie did poorly in movie theaters. The teaser didn't give much away except to promise a 2025 release window for the next installment in the space shooter/looter saga.
The end of the teaser trailer revealed something intriguing. There appears to be a secret message written in glyphs. In last night's trailer, another sequence of messages flashed on the screen at the end of the trailer. Once again, the community got right to work on figuring out what the message read and the decoded writing is even more cryptic than last time.
A breakdown of the secret code at the end of the teaser trailer from August was posted by Termx on YouTube, and states simply "" This decryption was proven correct as part of the full new trailer shared last night,as at one point the trailer repeats the words "" with no context.
Gearbox Software has scheduled Borderlands 4 for a 2025 release, and there are a number of features the game can improve the series with.
The messages at the end of the new trailer are much lengthier and share a lot more information, thoughthey're just as confusing in their translated forms as in the original glyphs. The decrypted versions were shared on Reddit by Regi_Sicarii within hours of the new trailer launch and state, in order of appearance:
Invader cut me open
I died and thats just the start
Now my knife is redly suddening
She saw right through me and into you
His hand on your neck
Rip it out from the roots
Its your turn
Time kept is brain lost
Youre gonna like what comes with it
Regi_Sicarii also shares an additional decrypted message that states "" and "" These additional messages helped Regi and other fans decode the new messages, though the meaning behind them remains as hidden as if they were still encrypted.
