Although its theatrical release is quickly approaching, DC's Blue Beetle hasn't been the subject of many updates. While a couple of posters have been released, a trailer has yet to come out. However, George Lopez promises the first Blue Beetle trailer is coming soon.
Written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer and directed by Angel Manuel Soto,Blue Beetle will introduce Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle to the DCU. Originally, the DC movie was supposed to be a direct-to-streaming release, but its theatrical release was announced in December 2021. Blue Beetle stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, Bruna Marquezine as Jaime's love interest Penny, Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, and George Lopez as Jaime's uncle Rudy. What We Do In The Shadows star Harvey Guillén has also been cast in the movie, but his role has not been revealed. Very few plot details have been released, and without a trailer, it's difficult to guess what the movie's main conflict will be.

Fans may not have to wait much longer for a Blue Beetle trailer. Lopez took to his personal Instagram page to announce that a Blue Beetle trailer will be coming soon, promising fans will love it. Additionally, Big Screen Leaks tweeted that the Blue Beetle trailer will be released within the next month. While that tweet on its own wouldn't be compelling, the fact that the tweet coincided with Lopez's Instagram post could mean that a Blue Beetle trailer will drop by the end of April.
