Insomniac Games has confirmed it has a significant PS5 update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in the works, but players will need to wait until early 2024 to download and access its all-new features. The studio shared the news on Twitter having previously stated it wants to get New Game+ out before the end of this year. While a few more months of development are required to get it ready, it'll now be accompanied by a number of new features.
The Twitter post confirms Insomniac Games is also working on the ability to change the time of day, a replay missions feature, and tendril colour customisation. «We can't wait to share more with you in the future,» it said. «In the meantime, we appreciate your patience as our team works to finish our next update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2!»
A delay is in order because Insomniac Games requires «more testing» to make sure everything matches its standards of quality. Are there any other features you'd like to see patched into Marvel's Spider-Man 2? Share them in the comments below.
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
Has anyone try to replay missions in spiderman remastered in the menu and nothing shows up? It just says missions currently unavailable
Can't rush high quality, Insomniac always knows this. You can argue all you want about New Game + should have been there day one but they we're focused on getting the main campaign as polished as possible first, nothing wrong with that
And once again my patience pays off.
