Konami’s Rocket Knight and Felix the Cat games are getting modern re-releases
Konami is partnering with Limited Run Games to re-release its classic platformer games from the Rocket Knight and Felix the Cat series.
Digital and physical collections for both the franchises are coming soon for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, the pair announced on Thursday, with pre-orders open now.
Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked will include Carbon Engine-powered versions of Rocket Knight Adventures (1993), Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 (1994), and Sparkster (1994).
The collection will include an all-new animated intro from Studio Meala, rewind feature, Boss Rush Mode, and Museum Mode featuring never-before-seen content.
Meanwhile, the Felix the Cat bundle features both the 1992 NES and 1993 Game Boy titles. In these games, players can save and rewind game progression at any time, Konami said.
Limited Run Games revealed it’s working on another unannounced Konami Carbon Engine collection, which will be announced on February 24.
