Death Stranding 2 On The Beach's latest trailer was captured on PlayStation 5, and the impressive visuals showcased in it are likely to improve even further.
Speaking in a new Hideotube video shared today, Hideo Kojima spoke at length about the second entry in the series, confirming the State of Play trailer was captured on console. He also thinks that the game's graphics will improve even more in the future, which is a bold statement, considering what we have seen already. It was also confirmed the game will feature real-time terrain deformation that will influence gameplay, such as roads getting cut off by earthquakes, forest fires, floods, and so on.
Hideo Kojima also spoke briefly about the Death Stranding 2 On The Beach production timeline. At the moment, the assets are ready and require to be constructed. Japanese dubbing is also set to begin this year ahead of next year's release.
During the new Hideotube video, Hideo Kojima also commented on the game's story, confirming it will take place on a continent outside of America, the puppet, who's been modeled after German director Faith Akin, Elle Fanning's character, the Drawbridge group, Fragile's role, and development since the first game and more. Some new information was also shared on PHYSINT, which Hideo Kojima likened to a movie, although it will still be a video game. You can check out the full video below.
