Honk-Honk NPCs are scattered all across map locations of Hawaii and Japan in and trade character buffs for money. Inspired by Puff-Puff side quests from the series, tracking down these people can make you stronger. However, it can be hard to find some Honk-Honk characters since they spawn randomly on your map.
You are only able to find Honk-Honk NPCs during the day in any of the areas they have a chance to spawn in. Each one is tied to either one of Ichiban's Personality Challenges or Kiryu's Unfinished Business side quests. Speaking to these characters gives you a chance to slightly increase your stats, allowing you to improve the protagonists for different jobs in .
There are 9 Honk-Honk characters in Hawaii for you to find at different times. You might need to revisit areas throughout the day to see if certain NPCs spawn in their respective locations in. One of the best ways to ensure a Honk-Honk person appears is to progress through the main story, and then return to where that character is supposed to be.
It costs money to pay every Honk-Honk person to improve your stats when you find them. Make sure you have plenty of dollars in Hawaii or yen in Japan to be able to pay each character's fee.
