Medieval Brawler Warhaven Adds New Map, The Hangar, With a 12v12 Reclamation Mode, and New Events

Nexon’s medieval fantasy brawler Warhaven has added a brand new map, The Hangar, along with new game events in the Early Access title’s Pre-Season 2.

This is thefirst indoor map for Warhaven. Not only does it have both day and night versions, it serves as an airbase to house your troops and a safehouse for the Divine Stones you want to protect, the indoor map also offers a number of strategic options for different scenarios. Included with the new map is an exclusive 12v12 version of the reclamation game mode that is different from the usual 6v6 mode… Your task will be to have your team secure one of those stones and bring it to an evacuation point. Of course, your enemy team will also have the same goals, so be prepared to clash. 

Since the map is indoors, there are different opportunities to either push ahead and move your frontline forces forward or you could potentially flank the opposing team. If you can successfully surprise them and pick off a few enemies, you may have an easier journey to the evacuation point. 

There are two events set to run with this new update, which arrived yesterday. The first event is on now through January 24th. The Arctic Hangar event features event quests. Every time you complete one of these event quests, you'll get some rewards like headgear, skins, avatars, or gold. Keep racking up the points and progressing your meter in order to get additional rewards for each segment of the event. 

The second event, “Jade Dragon Rising” starts on January 24th and ends on February 7th. Also feature opportunities to claim rewards like skins, avatars, and more. both of these events are also running with Twitch Drops campaigns.

Warhaven is in Steam Early Access on PC now, and Nexon plans to release it
