Written by Tatlock and directed by Michelle MacLaren,Better Call Saul season 6, episode 10, «Nippy,» instead returns to its post-Breaking Bad timeline with Jimmy living under the guise of Gene Takovic, a Cinnabon manager in Omaha, Nebraska. Picking up after he is recognized by the unsettling cab driver, Jeff, and cancels his second extraction with the Disappearer, Gene takes matters into his own hands by returning to his old Slippin' Jimmy ways. He begins by befriending Jeff's mother, Marion (played by Carol Burnett), and subsequently offers the cab driver a chance to get in "the game." The rest of the episode follows an elaborately planned department store heist executed to near perfection, which successfully buys Jeff's silence and reenergizes Gene.
