Better Call Saul season 6, episode 10 guest star Jim O’Heir of Parks and Recreation fame ended up eating a lot of Cinnabons while filming. Written by Alison Tatlock and directed by Michelle MacLaren, the most recent episode of Better Call Saul jumps ahead to Saul Goodman's life post-Breaking Bad as the mustachioed manager of a Cinnabon in an Omaha shopping mall, Gene Takovic. The black-and-white episode, titled «Nippy,» picks up after season 5's flash-forward as Gene is recognized by the unsettling cab driver, Jeff.
Season 6, episode 10 sees Gene returning to his old Slippin' Jimmy ways by planning an elaborate department store heist in order to pay off and silence Jeff, who turns out to be a down-on-his-luck cab driver living with his elderly mother, Marion, played by another exciting guest star in Carol Burnett. The most imperative step of Gene's carefully constructed heist is distracting the mall's sociable night-security chief, Frank (O’Heir), with sports-related small talk and cinnamon rolls. In fact, the lure of the sugary treats even turned out to be too much for the Parks and Recreation actor.
