Warning! Spoilers for Better Call Saul season 6
Better Call Saul writer Thomas Schnauz teases that viewers will get more answers on the fate of Kim (Rhea Seehorn) in the show's final two episodes. Schnauz has written and directed for the series since its inception, joining the creative team during predecessor Breaking Bad's third season, and has garnered nine Emmy nominations for his work on Better Call Saul writing and producing. His final episode for the series, notably titled «Breaking Bad» tied the two show's narratives together.
Better Call Saul follows the life of Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman as he grows from an earnest lawyer to a charismatic conman. A big part of that development has to do with his wife Kim, who leaves him in Season 6, Episode 9, «Fun and Games.» Though Kim is absent for the next two Better Call Saul episodes, Saul is seen attempting to communicate with her over the phone in «Breaking Bad,» where the conversation goes poorly, encouraging Saul to start scamming again.
