Animal Crossing is more popular than ever, continuing to ride the wave of success it saw with the Switch release Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the mobile game, is also popular in its own right, and it sounds like fans are in for something fresh coming soon.

The start of Japan's Moon Viewing autumn festival is rapidly approaching, and this event is an Animal Crossing-style take on the festivities. In Japan, special dango, or dumplings, are made to celebrate the event that are called tsukimi dango. This is what players will be making in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, with a promotional image showing the player character pounding mochi flour.
